Happy Holidays :o)

It's starting to feel a lot like Christmas out here in Utah. It's not only freezing cold outside, everything is beautifully covered with glittering snow. The children just can't wait for Christmas to get here and seeing the excitement in their eyes just makes it more fun for us.

2009 is a year to remember for our family. Keith was laid off from work in February and was unable to find work for the next seven months. It was a tough time for our family financially BUT it was also the most fun and adventurous seven months we have ever had as a family.   We were able to go camping in Estes Park Colorado and visit the Dinosaur National Park in Vernal Utah.   We spent most of our summer outside playing in the yard and jumping on the trampoline.   The girls even convinced Daddy to have a campout on the trampoline two nights in a row.  The children loved having Daddy home to themselves.

By the end of summer, Leilani and Tai have both learned to ride their bikes without training wheels.  Thanks to Daddy's motivation and Mommy's patience.   Lota mastered driving his sisters pink mustang and Sina had five visits from the Tooth Fairy.   Because of Keith's unemployment, we were able to qualify for Head Start and Early Head Start.  So now we have Sina in 1st Grade, Leilani in Kindergarten, Tai in Head Start and Lota in Early Head Start.

Iosefa our youngest is now 14 months and still refuses to walk.  He finds crawling absolutely fast and fun.

Keith was blessed to find in a job with the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray Utah, where he works as a HVAC technician.   He is very happy to be done with construction but still be able to do his trade in a more technology advance way.   He LOVES his new job.

Rowena loves staying home with the little ones.  If she's not dropping and picking up children from school, she's working on her church calling as a Relief Society Weekly Meeting Coordinator, visiting with her MOMS Club members or working on a Scentsy party.

We hope 2009 was a good  year for each one of you.  May you all have a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

Much Love, Keith, Rowena, Sina, Leilani, Tai, Lota & Iosefa Ward.
